Israel uses Neighbours

THE Israeli defence force is using an old logo of Australian TV soap Neighbours and its theme song in its fight against Hamas.

The force posted a video to its English-language Twitter account, using the show’s old logo and its tune to highlight violence allegedly committed by the Gaza rulers, with the words: “These are some of Israel’s neighbours.”

“I’m sure @NeighboursTV are delighted you used their theme song for this...” Twitter user, Alex Tiffin, said.
