Junior footy washed out

FAR North’s junior footballers will not start their season until April 27 after heavy rain led to the cancellation of yet another opening round.

FNQ Football’s junior seasons were due to start on Saturday. Heavy rain impacted grounds so severely the governing body called off the junior fixtures just after noon.

A decision is yet to be made on senior fixtures.
