How boring is Australian Survivor All Stars.

It seems to be about eliminating previous winners and settling old scores. The contestants make out they are gun players but they’re meek and mild. No one has made a move to vote off dominating personalities when opportunity knocked. Rather they pick off odd bods who have failed to fit in. Then the ones who could have changed the destiny of the game get eliminated. 2019 series was the same. It’s too predictable and boring TV.

I don’t care what side of politics people choose. But the way this government system works; it’s ridiculous that one person can have the final say on hundreds of millions of dollars when in some cases they have an inquiry into some of the most stupidest things on Earth. It’s becoming more evident that money is the root of all evil to some in society.

Let me get this straight. The government can’t keep us safe in childcare (CP, 26/02) or in aged care (CP, 26/02) or from domestic violence (CP, 26/02) or from foreign extremists (CP, 26/02) but it can keep us safe from coronavirus (CP, 26/02)? (Cough, cough), yeah, right. Annie, Manunda

Every day the media gives us a humanitarian update on the spread of the coronavirus, but as soon as scientists on the boats and in the water give us an update on the health of our coral reef, right-wing activists call it fake news, because it proves global warming.

Cathay Pacific has gone and Tigerair, Jetstar and Qantas are reducing flights. The reaction from leaders is to play it down. Forget the spin and deal with the multiple problems if you still want a job. Start with the airport terminals. One is a 1970s relic with the atmosphere of a funeral, the other is a tin shed with no windows. Richard, Palm Cove

I would be happy with Cathy Freeman’s proposed change to Advance Australia Fair from “young and free” to “one and free”.

Robbo, Gordonvale (CP, 27/02) No surprise with Peta Credlin’s article, this time insulting our intelligence and wonderful education system and teachers. No expertise to justify any of it other than some drummed up comparison with another country. Then it’s somehow connected to the Labor Party and climate change. A typical preaching to the converted and dumbing-down of the uneducated is the only message here. Local, Cairns
