Literacy skills at home
WITH isolation at home, it is a great opportunity for us to relearn communication in speaking, reading and writing in English.
It will make you a better person.
Why? Well we are definitely not in a hurry anymore. We are isolated.
With emoji, communication has gone back to ancient civilisations, thousands of years ago, when humans communicated by symbols and violence.
Does that ring a bell? How many can speak proper English? Many find it difficult to read and difficult to write but are experts in emojis, using shortened words read on devices while moving but, more in keeping with ancient civilisations, we have retained the use of violence.
Violence only occurs owing to ones verbal inability to express oneself.
So what can we learn in this down time, for our gods, our country, our community, our friends, our family and more importantly ourselves?
