We need green space

I CAN’T believe people are so short-sighted on wanting to build on recreation land.

Darren Halpin comments that people want to move to the northern beaches instead of living in the city.

Well what does he think this place is going to look like when all this development on every green space on northern beaches has a house on it?

You’re not going to be better off than the city. Why do we need to build on everything? What’s the future going to look like when we have no facilities anymore? Do we just go to work, drive home, lock the doors, repeat?

So to the council, I would love to see that land made to good use. If not a golf course, have it as a playground for lots of activity for the community.
