Disappointed at decision

DO we really need another gym especially on the beachfront at Trinity Beach? Surprised and disappointed to read recently that council has approved a gym at Trinity Beach. Don’t recall if there was any consultation with locals but this is guaranteed to spoil a lovely quiet spot.

Apart from all the wannabes and pretenders prancing around, all the parking in the complex and beachfront will be monopolised by them. This situation will be further exacerbated during holiday periods and more so when they have classes on top of normal gym goers.

One of the great aspects of living in Trinity Beach, apart from its special ambience is, on most occasions you can always get a park of a table at a cafe in reasonable walking distance of where you want to go. This will no longer be the case. I think it’s a poor decision.
