Thanks to the Cairns Training Academy, more and more students are being upskilled or reskilled with qualifications that are valued by industry Australia-wide. And even better news is that students have the opportunity to achieve their training goals at very low fees.

The CEO of Cairns Training Academy, Dianne Payne, said she was proud of the academy’s longstanding reputation for excellence.

This has led to it becoming a Skills Assure subsidised training provider, as approved by the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training, as well as being an approved recognition of prior learning supplier for Education Queensland.

As a result, eligible students can access Queensland government-subsidised training.

For example, a diploma of early childhood education and care is just $28 for students who are eligible for a training subsidy, while a certificate III in early childhood education and care is only $18.

A certificate III in education support is $150, while a certificate III in individual support is just $13.

Cairns Training Academy has opened career and training pathways for more than 15,000 students over the past 18 years, and 90 per cent of students achieve their training goals – which include gaining an industry-valued qualification and finding employment in their chosen field.

The academy also offers enhanced university pathway options and helps secondary students transition from school to employment.

All courses are online, and the user-friendly learning platform gives students the flexibility of 24/7 study access, to suit their lifestyle.

Supportive and professional trainers and assessors are on hand to assist and encourage each student on their learning journey.
