A valuable member of the firm since May 2017, Mr Bodenmann has played a crucial role in building strong relationships and trust with various local government clients across Queensland.

“I am very fortunate to be part of a great team at Preston Law,” Mr Bodenmann said.

“It is so rewarding working with a fantastic group of clients across North Queensland on really interesting projects.”

Mr Webb joined Preston Law’s litigation team in October 2019, focusing on commercial litigation and building and construction law.

“Preston Law are on Master Builders Queensland’s panel of recommended lawyers, allowing us to work closely with them, and with builders, contractors and owners,” Mr Webb said.

“We’ve got great clients and a great team at Preston Law, and I am privileged to be a part of it.”

Ms Ellwood has been a family lawyer for close to four years, and part of the Preston Law team for over two years.

“Family law is a very diverse and rewarding area to work in, and I have learnt so much since joining Preston

Law and working with such an experienced team of lawyers,” Ms Ellwood said.

Ms Willie graduated from James Cook University in 2019, completing a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business, majoring in economics.

Since joining Preston Law in late 2020, Ms Willie has since been offered a permanent position at the firm to complete her legal training and take the final steps towards being admitted as a solicitor.

“I am excited to commence my traineeship and legal career at Preston Law,” Ms Willie said.

“It is a blessing to work in an amazing team and under the supervision of some of Queensland’s best lawyers.”

Preston Law recently celebrated 13 years as an independently owned law firm.

The locally owned and managed firm has continued to grow, becoming the largest law firm in Cairns with a team of 19 solicitors and five conveyancers.
