Tee-ball in full swing

CHILDREN who would like to pitch in and learn a new sport have been invited to step up to the plate and give tee-ball a go.

Softball FNQ will launch its junior tee-ball competition at 4.30pm on Tuesday, October 26, at Edmonton’s Walker Road Sporting Precinct.

Children aged 8-10 who are interested in the sport, whether they are a first-time player or returning, are invited to come and join the fun.

No club affiliation is needed to participate, as new players will be put into teams.

The cost is $100 for the season, which will run for about 12 weeks.
