OREO TRUFFLES

SERVES 20. PREP 15 MINS

INGREDIENT­S

• 300g Oreo biscuits

• 250g cream cheese softened

• 150g milk chocolate melts

METHOD

1 Crush Oreos until they resemble fine crumbs.

2 Mix Oreo crumbs with the cream cheese.

3 Roll into 1-inch sized balls and place on a tray lined with baking paper.

4 Place chocolate in microwavab­le bowl and microwave on medium for 2-3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until chocolate is completely melted.

5 Place the truffles into the bowl of melted chocolate (in batches) and use two forks to roll the truffles around until they are completely coated.

6 Remove truffles with the forks and allow any excess chocolate to drip off. Place back on to the baking paper-lined tray and decorate with your choice of toppings (ie. crushed Oreos, candy canes, sprinkles, baubles etc).

7 Place into the fridge to set for 1 hour.
