Internationals to soar in Eagle
THE three internationals chasing the $7.5m Golden Eagle have left quarantine and are ready for the Rosehill feature on Saturday.
Annabel Neasham’s Laws Of Indices and Reve De Vol have joined her team at Warwick Farm while the John O’Shea-trained Maximal has moved to his Randwick stables.
The three northern hemisphere three-year-olds contested a 1000m jump out at Canterbury on Friday, competing against Neasham’s older horse Top Rank, who won the gallop.
“They are lovely horses and they’ve settled in beautifully,” she said.
Laws Of Indices has been fancied with TAB Fixed Odds since arriving, firming from $26 to join Maximal on the fifth line of betting at $13.
“He’s a magnificent horse with a great action and he gives you a beautiful feel,” Neasham said.
She said while Reve De Vol was more of a 2000m type, she “wouldn’t dismiss him”.
Reve De Vol has firmed from $26 into $17.
Maximal, a three-quarter brother to Frankel, has form around some of Europe’s best including Baaeed, Hurricane Lane and Poetic Flare.
