Coroner to investigate

POLICE will prepare a report for the coroner following the sudden death of a patient on the Walsh’s Pyramid walking track.

Emergency services including paramedics, fire and rescue as well the Rescue 510 helicopter were called to the “medical incident” about 12.50pm on Saturday.

A police spokeswoman on Monday confirmed the patient had suffered a “sudden death” and no further details were available because the death was not suspicious.
