WAIT ‘N’ SEE ON EDUARDO
WHICH super sprinter do you take on, Nature Strip or Masked Crusader?
This is the dilemma trainer Joe Pride is dealing with as he plots Eduardo’s next race.
Pride is leaning towards starting Eduardo in Saturday’s $1m Classique Legend Stakes (1300m) at Rosehill.
His alternative is to wait for the Group 1 $2m VRC Sprint Classic (1200m) at Flemington on November 6.
The Everest winner Nature Strip is likely to run in the Sprint Classic but the Hawkes-trained Masked Crusader has been nominated for Rosehill and Flemington.
Pride is taking a waitand-see approach with Eduardo.
“I am going to accept with Eduardo for the Classique Legend Stakes and have a look at the field,’’ Pride said.
