Last chance for bargain thrills
HOT deals for some of the state’s most popular theme parks will be on sale from Wednesday, with savings of up to $100 for entry to Sea World, Dreamworld and Australia Zoo, among others.
In a final flurry before the Great Queensland Getaway campaign ends, a limited number of previously sold out theme parks deals will be available through Tourism and Events Queensland.
Sea World, Movie World, Wet’n‘Wild, Dreamworld and Paradise Country were among a host of theme parks to run out of deals within days of the campaign launching last week.
But park entry deals with savings of 50 per cent will be available again until sold out. Queenslanders are urged to book immediately using the promo codes or risk missing out.
The Great Queensland Getaway has delivered millions of dollars in sales and tens of thousands of bookings for tourism operators around Queensland.
It was planned to finish on Sunday but deals are likely to sell out earlier.
TEQ chief executive Leanne Coddington said the demand from Queenslanders had been huge.
“We’ve seen tens of thousands of great deals snapped up by Queenslanders all across the state which has been fantastic to see,” Ms Coddington said.
