1897 JOSEPH GOEBBELS German politician
Goebbels was one of Adolf Hitler’s closest and most devoted acolytes. He served as the Reich Minister of Propaganda from 1933 until 1945. Goebbels also served as Chancellor for one day after the death of Hitler, then committed suicide with his wife after poisoning his children.

1927 FRANK SEDGMAN Australian tennis player
Sedgman won five Grand Slam singles championships (two Australian, two US, one Wimbledon) as an amateur as well as 22 Grand Slam doubles tournaments. Tennis de France ranked him the world’s best player in 1953.

Jackson came to prominence portraying Sabrina Duncan in the popular television series Charlie’s Angels. She is a three-time Emmy Award and four-time Golden Globe Award nominee.

Ryder’s debut film appearance was in the 1986 movie Lucas, but it was after her performance in Beetlejuice (1988) that Ryder’s stocks began to soar. She has received two Academy Award nominations during her career.

Vaughan made his Test debut against South Africa in 1999. He played a total of 82 Tests, scoring 5719 runs. He captained England in 51 Tests, winning 26 (a national record) and losing 11.

Brown was selected by the Brisbane Lions in the 1999 AFL Draft under the fatherson rule. He played his first match in Round 5 the following year. Brown was part of the Lions team that won three consecutive Grand Finals – 2001, 2002 and 2003.
