Hope for fisherman

FAMILY members of a missing North Queensland fisherman have not given up hope that he will be found, and have taken to the seas alongside multiple search and rescue crews to aid in the search. Acting Senior Sergeant Mark Whebell confirmed the search area for missing fisherman Colin Palmer, 41, had been extended. Mr Palmer and his 45-year-old fishing buddy launched their boat off the South Townsville boat ramp on Friday evening, but fell out of the boat after encountering “difficulties”.
