ANDERSON CLEAR OF SERIOUS INJURY

-

FORMER Northern Pride utility Grant Anderson has been cleared of any serious injury after he was stretchered off Sunshine Coast Stadium on Sunday.

Anderson, who played for the Pride last year but is now with the Falcons, was the victim of a crusher tackle in the 55th minute of his side’s thumping of the Jets.

He clutched his neck as soon as he hit the turf, where he stayed for five minutes before seven officials carried him off in a stretcher.

Anderson, a goalkicking centre, has been cleared of injury and he will enjoy at least one week off with the league-leading Falcons having the bye this weekend.
