IT was a massive weekend for the Cairns Pythons, who had a few podium finishes at the Netball Queensland state age competitions. Cairns’ under-16 team tied for first with Downey Park Netball Association, however finished with silver based on aggregate. The Pythons under-15 team took third place in their competition, while Cairns’ under-17 squad took eighth.
