CAIRNS native Charlie Dixon perfectly summed up the frustrated flyer experience.

Due to the AFL’s agreement with Virgin Airlines, Port Adelaide could not fly direct to Cairns from SA and had to stay in Sydney before arriving on Friday night.

Dixon described it as a “an absolute s--t show” – a sentiment shared by many travellers who have had flights changed and unwanted stopovers added.
