MOORE SET FOR RETURN TO PRIDE

- MATTHEW MCINERNEY

THE cavalry has started to return for the Northern Pride as Ty Williams’ team looks to turn their season around against Tweed Seagulls.

The Pride (2-4) will welcome back Ewan Moore after almost six weeks on the sideline nursing a foot injury when they travel to Piggabeen Sporting Complex on Saturday.

Among the better performers until he was injured in the first round win against Ipswich, Moore will play provided he gets through this week.

“He will be a big inclusion for us,” coach Williams said. “I thought he was very good in that first game before getting injured. He’s coming back a little bit early which is encouraging.”
