After 172 games and 68 goals at the Dogs, traded to Richmond at the end of the season

Retires at the end of 2003 after 256 senior appearances

Returns to Whitten Oval as an assistant coach with the Bulldogs

At season’s end, joins Hawthorn as an assistant coach under Alastair Clarkson

Joins GWS
Giants as senior assistant coach for the 2013 season under Kevin Sheedy with a contract that appoints him as senior coach from 2014
2016
Takes Giants to a home preliminary final in which they are narrowly beaten by the Western Bulldogs

Another preliminary final appearance and another loss, this time to Richmond in front of just under 95,000 at the MCG
2019
Cameron’s greatest coaching performance. He guides the Giants to an upset preliminary-final win over Collingwood at the MCG. In the Giants’ first grand final appearance, the club is annihilated by Richmond by 89 points

In a Covidinterrupted season, the Giants miss the finals for the first time since 2015. Cameron is re-signed until the end of 2022

The Giants record a thrilling one-point win against Sydney in the elimination final, but can’t back it up a week later against Geelong in their semi-final

Cameron resigns as coach on May 12 after a 2-6 start to the season
