MESSAGE OF THE DAY

RE: “Far North’s bill shock or just left in the dark” (CP Editorial, 16/05). Could one of the underlying factors in the surging cost of electricity be the current fad of forcing unreliable wind and solar into the grid? Because, for all the promises of “cheaper energy” over the past 20 years, our power bills have only risen.
