WINNING WIGGINS

RYAN Wiggins had a day to remember at Cairns Jockey Club on Monday, finishing the nine-race program with four wins.

Wiggins combined with Alwyn Bailey for two wins, riding Ten Schilling to a massive four-length victory in the 1400m Maiden Plate and Stifling in the Class 2 Handicap over 950m.

In between those wins, he steered The Magic One home for Alby Molino in the 3YO Maiden Handicap (1250m), then Prime Ruler for Fred Wieland in the Class 6 Handicap (1250m).

Roy Chillemi also enjoyed two wins. Racing returns to Cairns on May 29.
