Glover re-signs for Kings
THE Sydney Kings have taken a step towards keeping their championship-winning roster together by activating the third year of title-winning guard Angus Glover’s contract.
Glover, 23, was an integral part of the Kings’ NBL championship-winning team and said making the decision to take up the option of a third year with the club was an easy one.
“It’s nice to come back. I feel loved by the club and the fans,” he said.
“To have a chance to defend what we won and potentially go back-to-back. I wasn’t going to miss that, for sure.
“I want to say a big thanks to everyone involved with the club. The first year did not go to plan for me and the amount of resources everyone gave me to get back and be a part of a championship-winning team and put all this other stuff behind me is cool.
“There is no better way to repay the club than by coming back and trying to do it all over again.”
Glover joins Biwali Bayles, Jordan Hunter and Jaylin Galloway on the Kings’ roster for next season.
