FAR NORTH IN POWER COUPLE’S HTS
THE world’s most talked about celebrity couple could be headed to the region.
Actor and comedian Pete Davidson is set to star in new film Wizards!, from Brad Pitt’s production company, which will shoot in Far North Queensland this year, in another production coup for the state.
The Saturday Night Live! star has been in the global spotlight since he began dating Kim Kardashian in the wake of her public split from Kanye West, and all eyes will be on whether the reality star joins him in tropical Queensland.
Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the production would inject about $14.7m into the state economy and create about 100 jobs for Queensland cast and crew, as well as 300 extras.
Wizards! follows two hapless beach-bar operators, played by Davidson and German actor Franz Rogowski, who get into trouble when they stumble across stolen loot.
