Power prices (CP 26/5) are increasing because of a decade of ignoring renewable energy, now people and businesses have to shield themselves from this rising energy cost by installing rooftop solar panels.

Shaun, Mt Peter

Re: Cruel Punishment. The anonymous woman should think about what the prisoners did to their victims and the trauma these grubs put them through. NO sympathy. Steve, Edge Hill

To all the Sporting bodies who have publicly supported the Voice. Did you check to see if there are any Indigenous people who play your sport who are against it.

If so will you respect their decision and support them if they get bullied or racially abused because of their decision. Will you let them publicly support a No vote without any repercussions or will you not hear their Voice and discipline them. Is it one in all in or personal choice. Merlin, Bentley Park

No matter the result of the Voice referendum. The Nation will be divided. Mel, Ravenshoe

By now the climate and Covid dramas should have alerted everyone that experts are terrible at predictions. Juss Sayen, Cairns

CP – 27/5. Gen Z get ‘offended’ by a cartoon emoji? As a society we have failed our young men. Let’s hope they never have to face a WWII situation. They wouldn’t make it onto the troop ship.

Ali, Mareeba

Bob Katter and Shane Knuth in a photo shoot in Ravenshoe (CP 27/5) and not a crocodile in sight. Oh I forgot, they’re with greenies protesting against a green project that will help us get to net zero by 2050. Elizabeth, Earlville

RE: Lotus Glen Lockdown. Sorry if people didn’t do anything wrong they wouldn’t be in jail. They should go back to the old days and give them nothing but bread and water. We are too soft on crims.

Max, Caravonica

Remember when Albo promised everything would be better if Labor were to be elected? Those were good times. Old Bloke, Cairns

To be or not to be. Crocs or humans. That is the question. Taka taka taka. Fred, North Cairns

Ruth. I keep hearing people say the youth crime issue should not be politicised. But the Palaszczuk government must take a fair slice of the blame because they softened the bail laws. This was the ski in the snow that started the Avalanche of youth crime we have today.

Robbo, Gordonvale

Other than woke minorities, those on welfare, climate lunatics, and a screaming banshee Lydia Thorpe, can you please tell me what voices ARE being heard in parliament? PS it is definitely not the taxpayer’s. Taxpayer, Mount Sheridan
