Like many Queenslanders, I object to being forced to pay an additional 30% for Miles government projects. Yet that what’s been agreed apparently. The government and their union mates are anything but friends of Queensland.
Rick, Redlynch
They told us one thing was very deadly. They told us another thing was very safe. They were wrong on both counts. They exaggerated the danger of the first thing to get us to take the second thing. For that, they must be held accountable.

Somebody randomly stabbing shoppers is the prime reason lawabiding citizens should have their natural right to carry guns returned to them by this incompetent government. One armed shopper could’ve dropped that murderer the moment he went after his first victim. Woz, Parramatta Park
While 46% of the GBR is suffering record heat stress (CP 16/4), with centuries-old corals succumbing to extreme heat, it beggars belief that climate change deniers will still deny the findings of the GBR Marine Park Authority and the US NOAA. Bernie, Holloways Beach
RE: Attack in Fairfield Sydney.
Blame (Anthony) Albanese and his Left government, particularly Penny Wong for emboldening racial division and encouragement of protests and violence between what was once our Australian communities.

Sure Insurance is doing the same to us in Caravonica under quoting and now I get a phone call saying they won’t insure us and I haven’t insured my house for enough. Well, I did but they don’t want to pay it out to fix the place properly – something needs to be done about these companies.

Not impressed on council spending $19,000 on a ceremony for the new council. Money could have been better spent else where.

Re Wayne Branden, Cow Bay (CP 16/4). So you think I’m misguided? Mega millions of other people’s money has been spent by your anthropogenic climate change alarmist scientists, especially by the great Professor Tim Flannery. If their computer modelling science had any type of credibility whatsoever, Australia’s east coast would’ve been under water years ago. All Australia’s creeks, rivers and dams would all be bone dry by now, as predicted.
Rex, Edmonton “Bad” roads catch a headline in our paper. We’ve just experienced the worst rains and floods in one hundred years. It’s not roads that cause accidents, it’s drivers. Recently travelled the Gillies and across Tablelands. No complaints. Gillies great. Witnessed an idiot driver in a Hilux Ute racing up a passing lane almost sent a small car over the edge and further on crossed over double lines and nearly wiped out oncoming traffic. Generations before us survived dirt roads.
