School centenary

THE Haden State School centenary will be held on Saturday.

Gates open from 10am with the official opening at 11am by Jessica van Vonderen, a former student of the school.

The present students will participate in the opening.

There will cake cutting and tree planting ceremonies on the day.

The bar will be open at 11am and the barbecue will run all day.

An anniversary book will be available to buy.

Souvenirs to buy include tea towels and pens.

Group photos will be taken throughout the day, starting at 10.30am.

A decorated bra and jock competition will be held as well as a bring and buy stall, raffle and lucky-door prize.
