Costly Origin jersey

SUPPORTING the mighty maroons has cost football fan Corey John Wilson $250.

Wilson, 19, exited a change room at Sportscene Super Warehouse wearing a Queensland State of Origin jersey under his clothes on May 23 — the day of game one.

He appeared in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court yesterday and pleaded guilty to stealing.

Wilson was fined $250 and ordered to make restitution of $94.50.
