Beckham holds the power
DAVID Beckham is always in charge of the television at home. The retired soccer star says he often has to wrestle the remote control away from his four kids with wife Victoria Beckham in order to watch his favourite shows and has set rules for the living room.
He told Heat: “I’m in control of the remote, unless one of the boys is in the room, then that’s a different story. But they know daddy is in control of the remote.”
The 38-year-old hunk admits he can most often be found watching soccer on TV, but he and Victoria, 39, love to settle down to a good comedy.
He added: “The kids watch a lot of the children’s shows.”
SINGER Guy Sebastian has signed on as Foxtel’s ambassador for its new internet TV service Play.
Sebastian and his hit songs will appear in marketing and promotions for the new services, which allows Foxtel customers with a broadband connection to watch programs from a range of more than 40 channels live or on catch-up with
no contract or installation costs.
WILL Arnett is dating Billy Joel’s ex-wife.
The Arrested Development star, who split from actress Amy Poehler last September after nine years of marriage, is reportedly romancing celebrity chef Katie Lee, 31, who was married to Joel for five years until 2009. A source told E! News that the brunette beauty is the first woman that Arnett, 43, has seriously dated since his split from Poehler last year.
The actor insisted in June that he still believed in love.
