Rural scholarships
YOUNG Goondiwindi residents aspiring to a career in agriculture can apply for a $10,000 scholarship to be offered through two of Queensland’s Agricultural Training Colleges.
Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry John McVeigh announced 10 scholarships of $10,000 each would be available under the new program, starting in 2014.
“Our agricultural industries are crying out for graduates,” he said.
