Ladies enjoy charity day

Weengallon Berry Pink Ladies Day

THE Weengallon Berry Pink Ladies Day delivered a luscious day of lunch and laughter for 500 women and raised $30,000 for breast cancer research and support programs.

The annual country charity day was held in the tiny town of Weengallon between Goondiwind­i and St George on August 2.

It has become known as one of the most glamorous events in the bush with tickets this year selling out within 48 hours of going online.
