Snubbed Carney could be the one

-

AFTER being overlooked for Origin this year, Sharks playmaker Todd Carney will be keen to show selectors the error of their ways when he goes head-to-head with the Blues’ No.6, James Maloney, against the Roosters on Monday night.

With the Sharks back at full strength thanks to the return of Wade Graham, the match looms as a danger for the Roosters. They will be missing key forwards Boyd Cordner (ankle), Martin Kennedy (knee) and Luke O’Donnell (suspended).

If Cronulla props Paul Gallen and Andrew Fifita can take advantage of the weakened Roosters pack, Carney looms as the gamebreaker.
