In reply to wBurrell on Stealth ships TC23/8. How switched on are you? Rudd sending Navy boats to stop boat people costing us $30 million a day for his publicity. Guess what mate ? That’s LNP’s big plan . Rudds doing it due to people pressure. All the inept people who listen to LNP

The illegal immigrants are being given very good and sturdy dwelling/rooves to live whilst our homeless get a swagbag tent and very meager supplies to exist.

Bureau of Meteorology Mr Threlfall, if you had lived as long as I have in this mountain area of southeast Queensland you would have realised that this weeks very cold weather is an August normal yearly happening, and not what you said as being uncommon.

Telstra said last week they had 250000 less home line customers

than last year. it’s a growing trend. people are going wireless. As reported yesterday a company can now get you 100 Mbps on planes trains and automobiles. The NBN will be out dated before it’s finished. And Con still thinks it’s free.

From the debate @ the Broncos it’s obvious this election is a two horse race - a show-poney versus a stayer! The show-poney is flashy & prances nicely but is not much good when there is real work to be done over a long distance. Give me the stayer every time to get the job done. What a slap in the face to have a French construction company or any other foreign company get close to being the successful tender for the range by-pass. What is wrong with having an Aussie company doing the work. So much for keeping the money in our country. Typical of the government, they are happy to look after countries overseas before they look after their own and line their pockets while we miss out. Shame, shame, shame.

Harry Belafonte’s song ‘Jamaica Farewell’ should be adopted by the Essendon AFL club as their new club song....”sad to say we’re on our way ....”
