A mix of singing, dancing and story telling combined with a range of culinary delights from different corners of the globe made the Harmony Day fair an encompassing event.
Toowoomba Regional Council community development officer Roberto Garcia was overjoyed with the success of the day.
“It is wonderful seeing so many smiling faces coming together for Harmony Day,” Garcia said.
“There has been quite a bit of planning gone into this event so it is a great feeling to see the hard work coming to fruition.
“Australia is a very multicultural country so to recognise this through Harmony Day is something I feel is very important.”
Toowoomba Town Hall also got in on the Harmony Day act with the building lit up with orange light last night and on Thursday.
