Winning brings many benefits

-

Is your home or project an award-winner?

It has been a busy time for the Downs and Western industry and we have seen some beautiful homes built and renovated recently across the entire region. With entries for Master Builders Housing and Construction Awards officially open, your home or project has the potential to become a winner.

With a reputation as Queensland’s most prestigious building awards, taking home a winner’s plaque brings with it a myriad of benefits for both builders and home and project owners.

It is no secret that entering the housing market can be pretty tough, and it can be difficult to spark the interest of potential home-buyers.

In case the glory isn’t enough, being able to label your home as “award-winning’’ is a fantastic marketing tool when the time comes to sell your home, and sets it apart from the crowd.

A recent Master Builders survey revealed that build quality was one of the most important drivers behind consumer decisions when building a new home.

For a builder, marketing yourself as “award-winning’’ is a great indicator of the level of craftsmanship that has gone into the building or renovation process.

Each project entered into the awards is assessed by independent judges who look at criteria such as quality of workmanship, degree of construction difficulty, external appeal, siting and aspect, and amenities and aesthetics. The event carries a sterling reputation and with more than 1,000 entries received in 2013, being chosen as a winner is a glowing indicator of the quality of your home.

Master Builders members interested in entering can download an entry form at http://www.masterbuilders.asn.au/ housing-and-construction-awards or call 1300 30 50 10 to find out more.
