Roma block suitable for transport and storage

-

Like many Aussie blokes that’ve grown up in the country, Shane Kennett doesn’t like to beat around the bush.

The LJ Hooker Commercial Toowoomba agent knows a good opportunity when he sees one.

“There’s a 2.89 hectare parcel of industrial land available to buy on the western side of Roma and it has easy access to the Warrego Highway,” Mr Kennett said.

“The land is held in two titles and would be suitable for a number of industrial purposes in particular transport and storage for an owner/operator.”

But dig a little deeper and you will discover that Roma, the heart of the Maranoa region, is a dynamic and vibrant regional community with natural resource assets and a diversified industry base that has the region’s growth secured for at least the next 20 years.

To support this growth, the State Government and mining group Santos have contributed to the $11 million upgrade of the Roma Airport, with one-hour flights to and from Brisbane.

The industrial land’s suitability for transport and storage is logical with Roma serviced by the Brisbane-to-Darwin Warrego Highway and the Carnarvon Highway, which runs north-to-south.

The site was previously used for many years as a holding yard for gravel and blue metal, but in reality can be used for a number of purposes..

Time is running out with “Expressions of Interest” closing at 4pm Friday April 20, 2014.

Shane Kennett can be contacted on 0407 161 513 for further details.
