Local firm takes on auto site
The former Beaurepaires site located at 172 Herries St has been successfully leased to Jason Black of Black Isuzu Toowoomba.
Black Isuzu is opening an additional outlet for its successful business for sales of its Isuzu commercial vehicle range.
Black Isuzu Toowoomba will now be situated in two locations, Toowoomba’s industrial estate, 494 – 498 Boundary Rd and in the CBD at 172 Herries St.
The corner position site includes 228sq m of work shop areas, 30sq m of showrooms/office and a 110sq m of awning plus a handy concrete hardstand display on 1214sq m of land.
Markus Eames of Colliers International Toowoomba who leased the property said, “The property was ideal for Black Isuzu to be right in the heart of Toowoomba’s motoring alley with the introduction of the fantastic range of Isuzu utes and four wheel drives.
“The property and its high profile location in the city centre of Toowoomba made it a fabulous opportunity to lease an outstanding space which meant we received multiple enquiries, particularly for those in the automotive business.
“Rarely do commercial properties of this size in the CBD come available,” Mr Eames said.
Mr Black said he was looking forward to opening the new Black Isuzu outlet and also transforming the existing building to accommodate his customers’ needs.
