High tea and fashion

-

THE Leukaemia Foundation Lockyer-Brisbane Valley branch will host an afternoon of culinary delights and couture on Saturday, June 21, from 2pm to 4.30pm.

The branch will host a high tea and fashion parade at the Lockyer Valley Cultural Centre to raise funds to support patients impacted by leukaemia, lymphomas, myelomas and related blood disorders.

Branch president Gayle Daetz said the event was perfect for anyone who wanted to take some time out to indulge with family and friends.

“The event promises to be a fun afternoon, a great chance to spoil yourself and it’s all in support of the work of the Leukaemia Foundation of Queensland,” Ms Daetz said.

“The high tea will be followed by a fashion parade showcasing clothing from Target Country Gatton, a performance by Brisbane vocalist Rochelle Beattie and performances by Dance Force Gatton dance school.

“There will be raffles and a lucky door prize donated by Target Country and all proceeds will go to the foundation’s Lockyer-Brisbane Valley branch.”

The event is open to all and tickets cost $25.

Pre-purchase tickets by June 13 at Gatton’s Shoes ‘R’ Us store or contact Gayle Daetz on 0402 085 260. The Leukaemia Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation and receives no ongoing government funding.
