Round host shares the MX spoils

MATT Haworth made the most of home-track knowledge when he shared the spoils with Ricky Latimer in round five of the Sunshine State MX Series at Leyburn’s Haworth Park at the weekend.

Haworth finished second behind Latimer in the first race of the Pro Open class before the pair switched places in the second to boast the same results.

Clay Kilvington was third for the round after following the two leaders in both races.

Latimer had a great weekend as he also took out the Pro Lites class.

He finished fourth in the opening race before winning the second to take the round victory.

Latimer just edged out the consistent Jack Judge by one point for the round.
