I would like to commend the fire rescue, ambos, fire brigade and first response ambos. A crash happened north of town (crows nest) 9.30 am Sunday and nearly all response teams went past home with in 30 minutes from Twmba which is terrific to save a life well done boys again job well done.

Theatre etiquette sadly lacking at the Ten Tenors performance at Empire Friday night. After arriving late the couple in front of us started canoodling, blocking our view every time they kissed. The petting was highly visible and somewhat distracting. To the lovebirds in row W... get back row seats next time.

Council officers not taking local business into account when considering tenders is a common problem and they seem not to care less about job losses etc their area, they apparently believe their positions are of such importance they cannot lose their jobs too ! Where do they think the council rates to pay for their apparently “way too cushie” jobs come from?
