CALLING ALL ENTHUSIASTS
EVERYTHING equine will be at the Toowoomba Showground later this month, giving horse lovers the perfect chance to learn more about their beloved animals.
The Total Equine Queensland Horse Expo, on September 27–28, is a new event which promises to deliver everything from entertainment to education for equine enthusiasts.
Spectators will have the opportunity to experience horsemanship and various discipline demonstrations from some of the country’s renowned horse men and women, including Dan Steers, of Double Dan Horsemanship.
Dan will explain to audiences how to start and train horses in the main arena on both days.
By combing education and entertainment, Dan electrifies crowds around the world and will bring that talent to Toowoomba later this month.
Horse health clinics will also be offered in the demonstration yard.
Clinics range from dental care to biosecurity concerns, as well as general health tips and developing the best feeding regimes for your horse.
Shopping opportunities will abound with a range of tractors, quad bikes, utes, horse floats and goosenecks, saddles, tack, clothing, gifts and feeds, available over the two days.
General admission tickets are $15 and VIP tickets are available for $50 per day.
The VIP passes will secure a main arena seating and free coffee and tea while watching the arena action.
Organisers are hopeful the success of the TEQ Horse Expo will mean the event can return in the coming years, and have called on all people who either own a horse or just admire them to head along to the showground.
“Queensland has never had a horse expo like this before,” an organiser said.
“And the only way for it to succeed for years to come is by people coming along and enjoying everything that will be on offer over the two days.”
