Proud owners show off pets for annual contest

-

KAYLA and Claire Dale were in seventh heaven after a visit to Petstock Toowoomba to take part in the annual cutest pet competition.

The pint-sized pooch owners were keen to pit their pet chihuahuas against the cutest furballs on the Darling Downs and reckon they’re in with as good a chance as anyone.

They decked the little doggies out with mum’s jewellery and hit the red carpet for a photo.

The picture will go up against other local entrants and the winner will go to the Queensland round.

From there, voting will be open for the people’s choice award via the Petstock Facebook page for second and third place-getters to move into the national round as a wild card entry.

The national winner will bag a new Renault worth $35,000.
