Architect’s work
AS PART of the Toowoomba Open House program, the next talk at the Toowoomba Historical Society will outline the contribution architect William Hodgen made to Toowoomba’s built environment through his design of various schools, residences, and businesses.
The speakers will be Sandra Searston and John Parker, teachers at St Ursula’s College (itself a Hodgen product) who have recently published the book Altering the Face of Toowoomba: A Reflection on the Works of William Hodgen Jnr as part of a school project to which St Ursula students contributed.
The meeting will be held tonight at 7.30pm at 49 Lindsay St, Toowoomba. Members of the public are welcome.
