Rangers show no mercy in fourth win

-

TOOWOOMBA Rangers recorded another mercy rule win in their first Pacific League game at home yesterday.

Rangers downed Redcliffe 12-2 at Commonwealth Oval yesterday to take their record to 4-0 early in the season.

The hosts jumped out to a 9-0 lead by the third inning and only took five innings to hand Redcliffe a 10-run mercy rule loss.

Rangers conceded their first run in three matches this season against the Padres but the two runs scored only took the Toowoomba team’s tally of runs allowed to four from four games.
