ALP targets suicide rate
SHADOW Mental Health Minister Senator Katy Gallagher says Labor believes mental health must be a national priority.
She said a Bill Shorten government would extend regional health services to include regionally-tailored mental health services through Primary Health Networks. Ms Gallagher also said Labor would commit to the National Mental Health Commission’s target to reduce suicides by 50% over the next 10 years.
