2. Not Now, Not Ever

WHERE: Queens Park, Lindsay St side

WHEN: Today, 9am to noon

JOIN the Not Now, Not Ever challenge to end domestic and family violence by enjoying a lovely morning in the park with the whole family.

Share a healthy brunch of pancakes, fruit and water.

Enjoy the jumping castle, petting zoo, face painting, games, dancing and more.

3. Relay for Life

WHERE: Queens Park

WHEN: Today from 2.45pm to 9am tomorrow

MORE than 1300 locals will take to the track at the Cancer Council Queensland’s Toowoomba Relay For Life in an effort to give hope to all Queensland­ers affected by cancer.

4. Charity Walk

WHERE: Middle Ridge Park

WHEN: Tomorrow, 9am to 1pm STEP out with friends and family and take part in Two Feet and a Heartbeat, a Charity Walk to help beat Childhood Heart Disease.

The walk will be followed by a short ceremony to remember the Heart Angels who have lost their lives to childhood heart disease, plus a barbecue and family activities.

5. Open House event

6. Fashion showcase charity event

WHERE: Brothers Leagues Club

WHEN: Tomorrow 3pm to 6pm

COME along to watch the several fashion parades and browse k-jazzled jewellery, candles and so much more.

The event is to raise funds for Act for Kids, a non-profit organisati­on who helps children who have been abused and or neglected.

7. Breaker Morant

WHERE: Armitage Centre

WHEN: Today, 2pm and 8pm

THE Empire Theatres presents a powerful true story of wartime betrayal and injustice with Breaker Morant.

Breaker Morant follows the story of Harry “Breaker” Morant and two lieutenant­s

8. Ceilidh

WHERE: Drayton Hall

WHEN: Today, 7pm

ENJOY a night of Scottish entertainm­ent, the pipe band, highland dancers and community dancing at the Toowoomba Caledonian Society and Pipe Band’s Ceilidh.

You can learn the Dashing White Sergeant, Strip the Willow, Haymaker’s Jig, Jig to the Music, Pride of Erin and Gay Gordon.

Entry is $10 per person.

9. Murphys Creek Markets

WHERE: Adjacent to Murphys

Creek Tavern

WHEN: Today 7am to 12.30pm

MARKET stalls will include plants, preserves, honey, fruit and vegetables, clothing, hats, bags, jewellery, books, second-hand, bric-a-brac, jumping castle, face painting, soft serve ice-cream, coffee, great burgers and much more.

10. Leadlighti­ng Workshop

WHERE: Cobb and Co Museum

WHEN: Today and tomorrow, 9am to 4pm
