ALL single ladies take note; some of the city’s most eligible bachelors are going up for auction.

Toowoomba woman Ashleigh Knox is organising the fundraiser for the charity Pink Hope.

“It will be Toowoomba’s first auction of bachelors for the single ladies of the city,” she said.

“We’re hoping to raise some money and much-needed awareness around the community for Pink Hope.”

On the night ladies can enter the venue for the price of a gold coin donation.

From 8pm the men will be paraded on stage.

All the women need to do is bid for the man who catches their eye.

The auction will take place on June 18, with the venue yet to be decided.

“It will be night of fun, laughter and a chance for ladies to meet some single men – and for the bachelors to do the same,” Ms Knox said.

Eight brave Toowoomba men will join celebrity bachelors Stevie and Andy Mac from the band Paris Lane.

Ms Knox said the finely toned bodies of the Mac brothers was sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Pink Hope is a charity that helps men and women that are affected by the breast cancer gene BRCA which is famously linked to movie star Angelina Jolie.

Ms Knox’s family has been affected by the gene, with many contracting cancer.

In April the 24-year-old mother spoke bravely about her dilemma whether to undergo a mastectomy.

She has started a campaign for the charity group to set up an office in Queensland, to help rural families struggling with breast cancer.

Ms Knox came up with the idea for an auction after a number of lady friends approached her saying they had trouble finding men.

Warwick Bumstead from Core Benefits has offered his “man sculpturing” skills to help ensure the bachelors look their best on the night.
