Race One: THE early money was right for the winner Cambooya Rock as $2.60 was bet early and the money came over the phone with one good bet of $2000 at $2.50. Greyt Start had followers and one bet of $1500 came in late. Raw Sugar was backed place only to start the bookies off on the wrong foot.

Race Two: THERE was specking for Matildare at $4.40 and Rosie Posie was backed each-way at $4.80. The winner Rough Eddie had support late and the bookies broke square on the race.

Race Three: A GOOD betting race and the bookies were able to lay most of the runners. Temujin’s Queen was backed at $5 with one bet of $1500 each-way. There was specking for Wow Factor and One In One Out. The winner Isla Poppy had support at $6.50.

Race Four: A SMALL field and the punters backed most runners. Driving Wheels went off over the phone at $6 with one bet of $1500 each-way. There was some specking for Flautino and Blue Star. The winner Triple Jeopardy was an easing favourite and was backed late at $3.10 for a break square race for the bookies.

Race Five: GOOD money came for Temujin Khan at $3 and there was cash money for Rosador, $7 into $6. The winner Gallivante­r Cat was a good result for the bookies starting at $21.

Race Six: TINTS was supported at $3.20 with one phone bet of $2000 and Dazzling Halo was easy to lay. The winner Oggie had cash support at $3.60 but the bookies reported winning on the race.

Race Seven: BEN Currie put the polish on the ex-Victorian horse Said Written and the bookies went off at $2.80 with one phone bet of $3000 at $2.80. There was some support for Italian Affair and True Joy. But when they turned for home, Said Written showed them a clean pair of heels and the punters went home on a winning note. Overall the bookies went home just losing.
