New Year’s Eve Fireworks

When: Saturday, December 31, 4pm to 8pm Where: Lower Queens Park, cnr Margaret and Hume St.

Details: Join in the fun alongside your friends and family with the annual Toowoomba Regional Council New Year’s Eve Fireworks in Queens Park.

Perfect for young and old alike, the event will include family fun from 4pm with free kids rides. From 5pm there will be even more to do.

Win a prize by playing one of the many games, or check out the circus acts and other family entertainm­ent.

Fill hungry tummies and quench thirst from all the fun being had from one of the many vendors in attendance on the night.

Closing the event with a bang will be the fireworks from 7.45pm.

Find all the fun in Frogs Hollow, Lower Queens Park.

Entry is free.

New Year’s Eve Bash

When: Saturday, December 31, from 5pm Where: The Woolshed at Jondaryan, 264 Jondaryan-Evanslea Rd, Jondaryan

Details: Join everyone at The Woolshed for an evening of family-friendly fun.

The New Year will be celebrated with an authentic Australian bush dance and much more. Enjoy live music and delicious food to welcome the new year in with real Aussie style.

If you need to stay the night, there are also cabins and campsites — both powered and non-powered — available to book.

Come along for the buffet dinner at $25 per adult and $15 per child, or just join in for the bush dance.

Bush dance entry tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for children or a family of two adults and two children for $80.

Kids under five can enter free of charge.
